Ellie Goulding Announces 2016 Australian Tour With Years & Years

It’s been two years since Brit pop princess Ellie Goulding toured Australia extensively but she’s heading back this way for her biggest round of shows yet.

Goulding, who released her third album Delirium last year, will play in arenas around the country bringing the show to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth while also giving New Zealand a little bit of love.

She’s not coming alone though. She’ll be bringing fellow Brits Years & Years with her. The pop trio were down under last year for Splendour In The Grass plus a few hugely popular sideshows. Aussie popstar-in-waiting Asta will also be tripping across the country as the sole local representative.

It’s appropriate that Goulding is coming for her biggest tour yet off the back of some of the biggest years of her career. She nabbed a worldwide number one with Love Me Like You Do off the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack and backed it up with another pop banger On My Mind. Just this week she performed Love Me Like You Do at the Grammys.

Goulding was in the country last October for a one-off show at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre and a somewhat controversial slot on the music lineup for the AFL Grand Final. off the back of the album release but this time around fans will have had a little more time to sit with the new album.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Thursday 3rd March at 12pm local time wherever you are in Australia. Peep all the details below.
