Eminem Has Absolutely Smashed The MCG’s Attendance Record

Eminem is currently on his Australian tour in support of his 2018 album Rapture, and he’s gone and smashed a huge attendance record at one of the country’s most iconic venues.

Last night, Eminem broke the live music attendance record at the MCG, with a whopping total of 80,708 fans coming out to watch him play. This has just edged out the previous record holder, which was 2009’s Sound Relief. The benefit was held to help Black Saturday victims, and had 80,518 people in attendance.

His tour hasn’t been without its standard Eminem controversy, however. He took time at his Brisbane show to diss Machine Gun Kelly, who he’s had a longstanding beef with.

The crowd were chanting at him to play his MGK diss track ‘Killshot’, and Eminem wasn’t having a bar of it.

“I would [play it], but I can’t give that cocksucker any more fucking life,” the rapper told QSAC Stadium. “Brisbane… thank you for making this feel like family. Make some noise for your fucking selves! And make nothing for MGK!”
