American southern sludge champs Eyehategod are returning to Australia for a national tour in 2015. Kicking off in Perth at the Rosemount Hotel on Thursday, 29th January, Eyehategod will visit Melbourne, Sydney and finally Brisbane.
The band is touring behind their self-titled fifth studio album, the first from Eyehategod since the death of drummer Joe LaCaze in 2013. A fixture in the New Orleans metal scene since the late 80s, and having shared the stage with rock gods Pantera, Eyehategod have a wealth of experience in putting on a memorable show.
For any Melbourne fans eager to party on after the show, The Hi-Fi is offering exclusive access to the official after party at The Public Bar for the first 150 ticket holders. Ticket are on sale now through Life Is Noise, Oztix, and the individual venues. Full tour details below.
UPDATE 23/01/15: Eyehategod have been forced to cancel their Australian tour due to frontman Mike Williams’ ongoing health concerns. Refunds are available from point of purchase.
