There’s plenty of Father John Misty (real name Josh Tillman) to go around, with the much-frothed folk-rockre announcing a couple’a Aussie headlining tour dates today, in addition to his spot on the 2018 Laneway Festival lineup.
As well as slaying Laneway in all five major Aussie cities, the US multi-instrumentalist has just gifted fans in Sydney and Melbourne with one headlining sideshow apiece, going down on 31st January and 9th February next year respectively.
FJM will be joined at both shows by locals Jack Ladder and The Dreamlanders (featuring Kirin J Callinan, Donny Benet and Laurence Pike), who’ll be warming up the stage as main support.
Tillman returns to Australia armed with his latest record, Pure Comedy, following an unforgettable set at Splendour In The Grass earlier this year. He even told his Sydney crowd that he’s got a new album on the way.
