Harry Styles Covered ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ As Dorothy For Halloween

Harry Styles celebrated the spooky season on Saturday night (30th October) with his festive Harryween show at Madison Square Garden, where he and his band rocked Wizard of Oz-themed attire.

Styles himself got in character as Dorothy, wearing a blue gingham dress and bow, bright red leggings, ruby slippers, and topped it off by performing ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’. Watch fan-shot footage of the performance below.

Styles performed not one but two Halloween-themed shows at MSG this weekend, joined by Orville Peck and Madison Cunningham.

The former One Direction star is currently in the midst of the US leg of his ‘Love on Top’ world tour, in support of his 2019 sophomore album Fine Line. The tour was supposed to visit Australia last year, but was postponed due to the pandemic and subsequent health concerns. New dates are yet to be announced for the Australian run.

In other Styles news, it was revealed last month that the singer would reportedly be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thanos’ brother Eros, appearing during a post-credit scene at the end of The Eternals. Styles appeared in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk back in 2017 and is set to star alongside Florence Pugh in the Olivia Wilde-directed Don’t Worry Darling and a film adaptation of Bethan Roberts’ 2012 novel My Policeman.
