It looks like we might finally have a date for Harvest Festival 2012’s second injection of bands for this year’s lineup. A tweet from promoter AJ Maddah has revealed an actual date, which will be Thursday, 16th August. So far we’ve had impressive names such as Beck, Ben Folds Five, and Mike Patton’s Mondo Cane appearing amongst the acts, but it’s hard to think what could top them. I’m sure we won’t be disappointed.
Update 21/08: Harvest Festival 2012 second announcement is here!
The announcement has been pending for some time now, and could have come as early as late July, but it appears that an opportunity to include a last minute act came up. This, coupled with the Soundwave 2013 lineup due out this Wednesday, pushed the announcement further back than what was expected.
This will be the festival’s second year, after successfully establishing itself as an event that aims to bring something a little different to the market by recreating a typical European indie events lineup. It will take place between 10th and 18th November, and will return to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
