LA crooner BANKS has added her soulful vox to a rework of Chet Faker’s original tune 1998, and there’s no way that could possibly go wrong.
The single, which first appeared on Faker’s 2014 record Built On Glass, retains all of its original chillaxed vibes and synth-laced grooves, but the addition of BANKS’s raspy lady vocals in Verse 2 open up a whole new dimension of smooooooth.
Meanwhile, Faker is gearing up to embark on his final Australian tour in support of his Built On Glass album.
The Built On Live Tour will take in four massive east coast dates, including two at the Sydney Opera House, this October and November.
