Your mates The Rubens have just peeled another new track off their forthcoming new album 0202. It’s called ‘Masterpiece’ and it’s a tasty milkshake mix of dance, alt-rock, rnb, pop and hip-hop.
In true Rubens fashion, their freshie is packing some instantly memorable pop hooks, wrapped up in a melancholy message about retrospectively realising you lost ‘The One’.
“The song is about giving someone up, the doubt and eventual regret in realising you got it wrong,” the band explain.
Meanwhile, The Rubens’ next studio LP 0202, which fyi also features their ARIA-nominated track ‘Live In Life’, is due to land in our ears on Feb 12.
“We’re so bloody proud of this album and the way we created it, and we can’t believe how lucky we are to have made it this far,” the band explain.
“Thanks to all our fans for being there, we can’t wait for you to hear this one!”
