Hottest 100 2012 – Live Updates

It’s now almost time for triple j to begin unravelling their selection of the hottest 100 tracks from 2012. The tracklist has been a hot topic of late, not only due to the fact that some dudes attempted to predict it, but also because of the bevy of quality tunage that has hit the airwaves in recent times.

It’s become somewhat obvious which tracks have separated themselves from the pack to form the top 5. Amongst the list is that Thrift Shop song everyone has been talking about, along with Gangnam Style, Tame Impala‘s Elephant, Of Monsters & Men’s track Little Talks, and Skrillex (feat Sirah) with Bangerang – we have our #1 track.

Bets were called off after the Warmest 100 hit the web – a prediction of the final display on behalf of Brisbane-based online marketer Nick Drewe. We will now find out Drewe knows his stuff or not as triple j begin the roll out.

Don’t stress if you get distracted by whatever drinking game is underway – we will be keeping track for you, so stay tuned for updates.

While you’re here, why not check out the full list of Hottest 100 2011 and 2010 winners.
