Jem Cassar-Daley Shares New Single ‘Kiss Me Like You’re Leaving’

Jem Cassar-Daley has returned with her first new music of 2025: A new single entitled ‘Kiss Me Like You’re Leaving’. The Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung singer-songwriter co-wrote the track with Michael Paynter and Michael DeLorenzis, the team better known collectively as M’Squared (who also produced the track), as well as American songwriter Jon Nite. Cassar-Daley will also tour in support of the single in June; a full list of tour dates and ticketing information can be found below.

“‘Kiss Me Like You’re Leaving’ is all about wanting passion and urgency from your partner,” Cassar-Daley said in a press statement. “Over time, it’s so easy to grow complacent with each other and forget the little things that made you fall in love in the first place. This track is high energy and fun to play live, all whilst having desperate and heartfelt lyrics about desperately wanting more from someone. It has very quickly become one of my favourite releases and a song that I am very proud to share with the world.” Cassar-Daley has also shared a new music video, directed by Tas Wilson.
