After sending Beliebers everywhere into meltdown by posting a photo to Instagram of his bare butt, pop star Justin Bieber has apologised to the world for the image, and deleted it from his Instagram account.
Taking to (of course) Instagram, Bieber has said he decided to remove the photo after a friend’s young daughter became embarrassed that she’d seen him in the nude.
Captioning a new and fully-clothed photo (below), Bieber said:
“I deleted the photo of my butt on Instagram not because I thought it was bad but someone close to me’s daughter follows me and she was embarrassed that she saw my butt and I totally wasn’t thinking in that aspect [sic]. And I felt awful that she felt bad.
“To anyone I may have offended I’m so sorry. It was completely pure hearted as a joke but didn’t take in account there are littles following me!!! Love u guys”
That being said, Bieber’s original image (below) still appears on his Facebook page, and it’s unclear if that’s by accident or by design.
Bieber posted his nude snap, which features him standing naked on the deck of a boat, last week. The image has been liked and shared by millions and has even inspired a few remakes, including a
brilliant pretty decent effort from Music Feeds.
Catch that and Bieber’s apology, below.
