The eccentric trio of Kitty, Daisy & Lewis are the next artists in line to announce their run of extra headline sideshows, to complement their Splendour In The Grass 2015 appearance.
The London siblings will play four extra headline shows, one each in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth, following their Splendour set on Sunday, 26th July.
The family band will be making their way here after taking the stage at this year’s Fuji Rock Festival in Japan. On top of their rich back catalogue, they’ll be showcasing tunes from their new album, Kitty Daisy & Lewis The Third, produced by none other than The Clash’s Mick Jones.
Talking to Music Feeds earlier in the year, Kitty told us that, despite Jones’ inclusion, it really was a family affair.
“We were a bit sceptical about an outsider coming in,” she said. “We were not really sure what that would be like. But Mick was perfect – I wouldn’t have imagined anyone else. He didn’t take over at all he was just sort of there, just part of it and part of the family, just coming around for a cup of tea and a chat and we just played music.”
