It would appear that Justin Beiber isn’t the only international sensation to be the victim of an inanimate object’s cruelty. Lady Gaga has copped a brutal whack to the noggin while performing in New Zealand recently.
Performing the song Judas, Gaga appears to be wielding a machine gun while in a castle, all pretty standard stuff. A YouTube clip shows the incident – as a backup dancer attempts to modify the elaborate set, a pole comes crashing down onto Gaga’s head.
For a moment you’re too concerned for her wellbeing to notice the obvious lip syncing. She appears to become a little dazed and confused before stumbling off stage.
According to TMZ.com, Gaga told her fans at the concert, which was held at Vector Arena last night, “I want to apologise. I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don’t you worry, I will finish this show”.
Gaga will be heading to Australia next after three NZ shows. I wonder if that back-up dancer will still be on the crew by then…
