Following Lauren Hibberd’s debut LP ‘Garageband Superstar’, which garnered praise from top publications, Hibberd is gearing up for the next phase of her career. Having already made waves on BBC Radio 1, she recently toured with All Time Low and Hobo Johnson, and performed in front of audiences in the UK, US, and Australia.

Lauren Hibberd shared her story behind the single ‘2nd prettiest girl (in the world)’ in a press release “An unfortunate true story, does fortunately always start a good song.” she said. “I went on a date last year, and was told I was the second prettiest girl in the room. I actually said thank you (I need help). I started writing this song the next day. It became my personality. This has been one of my personal favourites on my new album ‘girlfriend material’ for ages, it’s torturously relatable.”

The album ‘2nd prettiest girl (in the world)’ is available now on all digital platforms, offering listeners a taste of what’s to expect from her new upcoming album Girlfriend Material on March 2nd.
