To get you even more pumped for Splendour In The Grass 2017 in just a few weeks’ time, festival headliners LCD Soundsystem have just announced the imminent arrival of their much-hyped reunion album.
Dubbed American Dream, the band’s first LP since 2010’s This Is Happening is set to be released on Friday, 1st September and will feature the previously released title track and fellow precursor cut ‘Call The Police’, according to the crew at Pitchfork.
Speaking about the new disc, band leader James Murphy previously said “It’s been one of the most enjoyable records to make in my life, if not the most fun ever (i think it is, for sure, the happiest i’ve ever been making a record)”.
Hopefully it’s be just as fun to listen to, too!
