Six months after they announced they were calling it a day, Jack White has unveiled two previously unreleased White Stripes tracks dating back to 1997.
TheLineOfBestFit reports that White has revealed the tracks via the website to his own record label, Third Man Records. The songs are Signed DC by Love (from their underrated self-titled debut) and I’ve Been Loving You Too Long by Otis Redding.
The two songs were recorded in the duo’s first year together, while White has said that the songs are the first in a series of 7″ releases that will revisit unheard material from the seminal band.
