Looks Like Foo Fighters Are About To Announce A New Australian Tour

UPDATE: Foo Fighters Announce 2018 Australian Tour With Weezer

ORIGINAL STORY: Fans have been hoping for it, and it looks like it’s about to happen — Foo Fighters appear to be preparing to announce a new Australian tour.

In a teaser posted by Foo Fighters and Australian touring giant Frontier Touring on social media tonight, a number of clocks are shown “counting down to zero hour”, which appears to be a reference to the song ‘Happy Ever After (Zero Hour)’ from the group’s upcoming new album Concrete And Gold.

The image also has a noticeably similar aesthetic to the cover of Concrete And Gold:

Foo Fighters last toured Australia in 2015, and earlier this year the band’s Chris Shiflett told Music Feeds that plans for the group’s next Aussie tour were “coming down the pipe”.

Foo Fighters members Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins were in Australia only last month for a brief promotional jaunt, including a surprise show in Sydney as their rock covers side-project Chevy Metal.

Whatever the band’s big announcement is, it appears it will take place at midnight tonight, so stay tuned to Music Feeds for all the details.

Concrete And Gold is due for release on 15th September.
