Looks Like That Diana Ross And Tame Impala Collab Has Been Confirmed

Last year, it was reported that Kevin Parker of Tame Impala and iconic singer Diana Ross were working together on a collaboration of some kind.

“Diana might be 77 but she is determined to push musical boundaries and challenge herself,” a source told The Sun back in October. “She’s really excited to work with Tame Impala and is ecstatic with the track – she can’t wait for fans to hear it.”

Now, a poster spotted in London appears to have confirmed that collaboration is on the way. As NME reports, a vibrantly colourful ad shows Ross and Tame Impala’s names next to each other below the words “coming soon.”

Excitingly, a long list of featured artists also appear – including Tierra Whack, H.E.R., Phoebe Bridgers, Weyes Blood, Thundercat, Caroline Polachek, RZA, St. Vincent, BROCKHAMPTON and more. Jack Antonoff is also listed as a producer.

When reports of Ross and Parker working together emerged last year, it appeared as though the pair may have only worked on the one track. Given the list of featured artists, though, it seems likely that it’s a bigger project – potentially an album. Tame Impala’s last album was 2020’s acclaimed The Slow Rush. Ross, meanwhile, released Thank You – her first album since 2006’s I Love You – last year.
