Megan Washington will embark on a five-date national tour this August. The acclaimed Queensland singer-songwriter is currently readying her upcoming sophomore album, There, There, and is set to delight fans with new dates set for Melbourne, Fremantle, Adelaide, Sydney, and Brisbane venues.
The last we heard from Washington, she was unveiling the video for Limitless, the latest taste from There, There since we were introduced to the arresting To Or Not Let Go, which Washington shared during her acclaimed TED Talk about her lifelong struggle with stuttering and the power of music.
“In a public sense [the early recordings] looked like me, but conceptually, philosophically … it was a lot of all of us,” Washington told Fairfax of her second album earlier this year. “This record is not like that. This record is mine. Mine. So very mine that it’s not Washington, it is Megan Washington.”
