Metallica’s James Hetfield Slams Kylie & Kendall Jenner Over Those Cooked Band Tees

It turns out James Hetfield is still holding onto plenty of ~St. Anger~ over Kylie & Kendall Jenner‘s controversial line of band tees.

ICYMI: Metallica were one of the many iconic rock, metal and hip-hop acts whose iconic images were bastardised by the Jenner Sisters, who decided to superimpose the retro-style band threads with Insty snaps of — yep — themselves:

And now, despite the Kardashian offshoots yanking the shirts from sale and apologising to the world at large, Hetfield has dubbed them Unforgiven.

“I guess what they were thinking is, ‘We can do whatever we want,'” The “Yeah” king tells ET Canada. “To me, it’s disrespectful. We’ve spent 36 years working, doing our best, to keep a really close connection with people [and] make every note count. And someone just throws something up over something that we feel — not that it’s sacred or anything — but show some respect.”

Sad but true.

His fiery words come after The Doors threatened to sue the Jenners over the sacrilegious tees, and after the siblings copped hate from the families of other artists whose images they’d so wilfully defiled including Sharon Osbourne and Biggie Smalls’ mum.
