Misfits Announce Australian Tour For January 2014

Misfits have confirmed their return to Australian shores, marking January 2014 as the arrival date. A permanent presence in the punk world for over 35 years, the band has lost none of their fury, belting out a live show that bands half their age would tremble at.

The band were last in town back in 2011 in support of their current record The Devil’s Rain.

As well as a high-octane experience, with a hefty amount of running around and jumping, Misfits Australian tour also promises a sonic assault containing all of the classics and anthems form as Die, Die My Darling, Attitude, Last Caress to Where Eagles Dare, Skulls Mommy and Can I Go Out And Kill.

The band successfully bridged the generation gap by leaving an immeasurable impact on the modern alternative music and pop culture landscape. With inheritors such as Metallica, Guns ‘N Roses, My Chemical Romance, NOFX, Cradle Of Filth, Sick Of It All, AFI and The Alkaline Trio working Misfits covers into their albums and live shows, the message and ethos of the punk rock icons burns as bright now as it did back in the day.
