Melbourne experimental rockeres My Disco have announced a short Australian tour on top of their appearance at Tasmania’s Dark Mofo.
The band will play three shows across Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney around their Dark Mofo show in June, previewing music from their soon-to-be-released fourth record. Having only played together once in the last 18 months, these shows are a particularly rare chance to hear what direction My Disco are heading in on the album.
It’s been five years since their last album, Little Joy, was released. The trio have been working with producer and engineer Cornel Wilczek on the new LP, which they began the process of completing in December of last year. Wilczek has previously produced for the likes of Architecture In Helsinki, PVT and World’s End Press.
Their first show will be in their hometown of Melbourne on Sunday, 7th June. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
