Those who had doubts over the ability of Chris Emerson to carry on What So Not as a solo project after the departure of Harley Streten (Flume) must be now eating their prematurely spoken words.
Fresh off debuting his first single as a solo act; an aptly titled collaboration with GANZ and JOY. titled Lone, and following on from some killer sets at this year’s Groovin The Moo – What So Not has now revealed that he’ll be back on the road this June and July on a national tour.
He’ll be joined by Canadian producer and Fool’s Gold label owner A-Trak, who was not only the youngest ever winner of the DMC World DJ Championship but has also recorded scratches for Kanye West, Common, Chromeo and Drake. A-Track also recently released his first new music of the year, a banger called Parallel Lines.
If that wasn’t exciting enough, the two will be supported by recent Fool’s Gold signee, beatmaker and rapper Rome Fortune – who will make his live Australian debut.
What So Not and A-Trak will play six exclusive dates across Australian capital cities, with tickets on sale Thursday, 19th May.
