Ocean Alley’s new single ‘Touch Back Down’ is out now. It’s a cruisy, sun-drenched number that arrives ahead of the band’s national summer tour.
The new single was produced and mixed by Ocean Alley’s regular in-studio collaborator, Callum Howell, who’s also worked with Le Shiv, Tori Forsyth and Flume. The track is completely in character for the band, built around reverberating guitars, a steady groove and a wormy chorus hook.
Ocean Alley will kick off their thrice rescheduled national tour in late January, playing a total of 11 shows across five states. That includes two new dates, both in Queensland: one at HOTA on the Gold Coast on Friday, 11th February and the other at NightQuarter on the Sunshine Coast on Saturday, 12th February.
Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and Dulcie will provide support throughout the tour, while the HOTA lineup also includes The Belligerents and Seaside. You can find the full list of dates below as well as the official music video for ‘Touch Back Down’.
