Serial chillers Ocean Alley have today launched their new YouTube series Constructing The Diamond, which is set to go behind the scenes of the making of their highly anticipated third album.
The first episode of Constructing The Diamond is available to watch now, and centres around the beginning of work on their forthcoming album Lonely Diamond, kicking off right after the band won triple j‘s Hottest 100 in 2018 with their Chiaroscuro track ‘Confidence’.
“We made Constructing The Diamond to give a look behind the curtain of how an Ocean Alley record comes together,” the band said in a press statement.
“Out of all of our albums, we spent the most time creating Lonely Diamond, and this series gives a glimpse into the process that we went through over 12 months of writing and recording. This glimpse doesn’t spoil the new album – we wanted to give a bit of a taste of unreleased music to hopefully make people more excited to hear it in full.”
The band released the lead single from Lonely Diamond, ‘Hot Chicken’, at the end of last month.
Lonely Diamond is out Friday, 19th June.
