Pharrell Unveils First 24-Hour Music Video

When you’ve been busy topping the charts all year (see: Blurred Lines, Get Lucky), you gotta reach a little further to really get the same thrill – at least, we think that must be the reasoning for Pharrell Williams, who just dropped the world’s first 24 hour music video.

The clip is for his track Happy, which appears on the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, and it’s entirely interactive. How on earth does that work, I hear you ask? You’ll just have to dedicate an entire day of your life to find out (or if you’re not quite ready for that kind of commitment, just watch the first four hours below). Don’t worry, there’s plenty to entertain you, including cameos from Odd Future, Magic Johnson, Steve Carell and Jimmy Kimmel.

We make no guarantee about how happy you’ll be feeling after listening to the track 360 times in a row. However, we can guarantee the video will be better than Kanye‘s so-bad-it’s-good effort for Bound 2. That’s gotta be something, right?
