Posthumous Nick Weaver Project ‘Salmon Brothers’ Share Full-Length Album

Salmon Brothers, the posthumous project of late Deep Sea Arcade co-founder, Nick Weaver, have shared a full album of unreleased music, entitled More To Love.

Spawned as a joke between Weaver and his muso mate Nick Meredith (after the pair accidentally wore matching salmon-coloured blazers one fateful night) Salmon Brothers managed to secretly record a plethora of music prior to 37-year-old Weaver’s tragic death back in 2021.

Salmon Brothers – More To Love

The result is More To Love,  a ten-track full-length album that embodies the vibrant partnership of the two Nicks, blending infectious fun, groovy rhythms, and clever lyrics that explore the many facets of human relationships.

Speaking on the final release of her son’s works, Helen Wellings shares “I defy anyone listening to Salmon Brothers songs not to feel upbeat at the sheer joy and energy they radiate. The two Nicks formed a perfect duo and it’s heartwarming to know that creating what turned out to be his last work, gave my Nick the greatest pleasure and sense of liberation he’d ever felt musically.”

She continued: “I’m thrilled he reached those heights of happiness that culminated in ten amazing tracks you never tire of listening to. Thank you Nick Meredith for collaborating with him and making him sparkle.”
