UPDATE: Rodriguez Has Cancelled His 2019 Australian Tour
ORIGINAL STORY: Rodriguez, one of the most enigmatic and interesting artists in recent memory, has announced his return to Australia for a run of shows at the start of 2019.
Not only will Sugarman be embarking on a huge national headlining tour, hitting up six venues in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Darwin, Hobart and Perth with support from Australia’s own luminary Sarah Blasko (except in Darwin where A.B. Original collaborator and one half of electro-soul duo Sietta, Caiti Baker, will be warming up the stage), he’s also headlining three special events for A Day On The Green at wineries in QLD, VIC and SA atop a huge bill that also features the likes of Xavier Rudd, Busby Marou, Pierce Brothers and Alice Skye.
“Australia’s audiences hold a very special place in my heart so I can’t wait to return down under in 2019,” the man himself said in a statement.
The tour marks Rodriguez’s first trip down under since 2016.
