Rudimental Announce Australian Headline Tour

British dance group Rudimental are already heading to Australia later this year to support Ed Sheeran on his arena dates and now they have added headline shows.

The creators of Not Giving In, which entered the Hottest 100 of 2012 at number 16, will play a show in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, showing off tunes from their forthcoming sophomore record We The Generation.

The record features the previously-released singles Never Let You Go and Rumour Mill as well as songs featuring the likes of the late Bobby Womack, Dizzee Rascal and Lianne La Havas.

This tour marks the first time we’ve seen Rudimental in the country since they tore up Future Music Festival in 2014.

The group recently told News Limited that they had arranged studio time with Flume, however, got a little distracted and started “sharing interests” instead of getting down to work.

“We are probably going to have to rearrange,” DJ Locksmith said.

“We showed him ideas, he showed us his album. We are big fans of Flume and would love to work with him.”

Maybe they will find some time when the group are in Australia in November.
