SAFIA National Tour And New Single Announced

Having already established themselves as a dynamic live stage presence on a slew of sold out shows earlier this year, Canberra trio SAFIA are doing it all over again, announcing a 9-date national headline tour to coincide with their new single, You Are The One, due out on September 12th.

The trio will bring their unique cross-genre sounds to venues across the country this September and October, capitalising on the success they’ve had since releasing their breakout single Listen To Soul, Listen To Blues.

Gaining the attention of alternative-pop queen bee Lorde, SAFIA were invited to support her on a national Australian tour, playing in front of over 35,000 people and capping off an incredible year that’s included other support slots for Rudimental, Disclosure and AlunaGeorge.

Their new single You Are The One is available as a pre-order now and will be unleashed onto the world on September 12th. Recently SAFIA released onto their SoundCloud a slow-burning cover of James Vincent McMorrow‘s Cavalier, with frontman Ben Woolner delivering impossible sweet vocals over a delicate and graceful beat.
