North London grime superstar Skepta has marked his return today, announcing his highly anticipated new album Ignorance Is Bliss.
While not much details were given about the impending album’s release, we do know that we’re getting it sooner than you might think – the end of next month.
Ignorance Is Bliss marks the first full album we’ve received from Skepta since he released 2016’s Konnichiwa, although he has given us quite a few sporadic singles since then, including 2017’s Vicious EP.
Skepta was last in the country last year as one of the headliners for 2018’s Listen Out festival. He also joined A$AP Rocky for his performance of ‘Praise The Lord’ for triple j’s ‘Like A Version’ last year as well.
Ignorance Is Bliss is out Friday, 31st May.
