Splendour In The City Will Hit Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal This July

There’s lots going on at Splendour HQ at the moment, and today, the crew behind the much loved Aussie music festival have today announced a nine-day long taste of Aussie music and comedy in partnership with the NSW Government.

It’s all going down at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Circular Quay from Saturday, 10th July to Sunday, 18th July. They’ll be taking over the 900 person capacity Customs Hall and the 400 cap Cargo Hall where they’ll be hosting some of the country’s biggest and brightest.

Across the nine days, Tash Sultana, Ocean Alley, Violent Soho and Illy will perform, amongst others.

It’s not a Splendour-like affair without all of the other good stuff too, so there will also be long table dining, specialty bars, art installations, markets, the Little Splendour kid’s program and more.

All events will be ticketed, with all proceeds going to the artists. However, you won’t need a ticket to access the general event area, so if you want to pop by for a drink and some dinner, you can do so.

“While we’re still working towards our Byron Bay event in November and are very grateful for the ongoing support from our Splendour community, we hope that the Splendour in the City pop up, alongside our recently announced Splendour XR virtual festival, will tide you all over in the meantime” said Jessica Ducrou, Co-founder of Splendour in the Grass.

“Hugest thanks to the NSW Government and Destination NSW for their support to make this happen.”

Tickets for Splendour In The City will go on sale at 9AM AEST on Friday, 18th June via Moshtix.
