Adelaide music lovers are in luck: it appears a new festival consisting of bands from the Splendour in the Grass 2012 lineup will be taking place this year for the first time. The new event is named SPIN OFF, and will feature exclusive Adelaide appearances by international acts like Lana Del Rey, UK rockers Band of Skulls and Brooklyn-based buzz band Friends.
The festival will also have Australian artists as well, led by Kimbra, who has had a successful tour in the US recently, as well as Last Dinosaurs, Bleeding Knees Club, DZ Deathrays, eternal party starters Yacht Club Dj’s, and next big things The Rubens.
Tickets will be a bargain price of $99, which means that Adelaide music lovers won’t need to travel across the country to get a chance to see what Splendour in the Grass has to offer.
SPIN OFF will be held at Jubilee Pavilion at Wayville Showgrounds on Saturday the 21st July.
