Stand Atlantic are taking their forthcoming new album GODBREATH on the road, announcing their biggest Australian headline tour to date for this October and November.
The Sydney pop-punk exports will hit Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth on The Godbreath Tour, bringing Chicago pop-punk heavyweights Knuckle Puck along for the ride.
Stand Atlantic – ‘LUCID’
The run will kick off at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday, 23rd October – the very same day GODBREATH lands – before heading to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre, Melbourne’s Forum, Adelaide’s Hindley St Music Hall and wrapping up at Perth’s Metropolis on Sunday, 1st November.
And there’s a cute full-circle moment baked into the tour package: back in 2018, Stand Atlantic supported Knuckle Puck on their Australian tour. Eight years later, the tables have officially turned.
“We’re so excited to embark on our biggest tour to date in support of our new album GODBREATH,” vocalist Bonnie Fraser said in a statement.
“It’s come full circle being able to have our old tour buddies Knuckle Puck (US) come along for the ride!”
The tour arrives in support of Stand Atlantic’s fifth studio album, GODBREATH, due out Friday, 23rd October via Virgin Music Group.
Already previewed by singles ‘Velcro’ and ‘LUCID’, the record sees the band continuing to gleefully mess with the boundaries of pop-punk and alternative music, while leaning into a more organic recording process, including live tracking.
It’ll follow 2024’s WAS HERE and continue a pretty bonkers international ascent for the four-piece, who’ve now clocked more than 500 million streams across their catalogue while touring with everyone from Sum 41 and A Day To Remember to I Prevail and ONE OK ROCK.
They’ll also head out supporting Simple Plan in the UK this year, alongside a stack of international festival and headline dates.
Presale tickets for the Australian run will go live from 9am local time on Monday, 17th August, before general tickets hit the digital shelves at 9am local time on Wednesday, 19th August.
