Ariana Grande has been atypically quiet for the past year or so, but she’s about to set that right with the announcement that her next album is coming at some point this month.
Taking to, and later breaking, Twitter earlier this morning, Grande simply tweeted: “i can’t wait to give u my album this month.”

Seeing how the tweet almost has one million likes, it’s safe to say that people are pumped. This new album, her sixth, will be the first new music we’ve heard from her since she dropped 2019’s thank u, next.
Her last album, and its single ‘7 rings’, earned Grande a fair few nods at the GRAMMY awards at the top of the year. In fact, the winner of ‘Album Of The Year’ – Billie Eilish with When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? – said on stage that she thought Grande deserved the award.
What also has fans in a frenzy is that The Weeknd retweeted Ariana’s tweet, signifying to some people that he might be set to appear on the forthcoming album.
If true, it would be the two’s first collaboration with one another since 2014’s ‘Love Me Harder’.
While she hasn’t revealed when in October she’s dropping it, we’re halfway through the month which means it’s coming very, very soon.
