Sydney Opera House Reveal Free Forecourt Concerts Weekend With Ziggy Ramo, Jack River, JK-47 & More

The Sydney Opera House has announced it’ll host four free outdoor concerts from Friday, 9th April to Sunday, 11th April. It’ll showcase artists across contemporary and classical genres.

Jack River will kick off the event on the Friday. She’ll deliver a show called Visions Of Us, featuring tracks from her debut album Sugar Mountain.

River will also showcase poets, emerging artists, climate activists, and First Nations leaders.

The Saturday will see the Barrabuwari portion of the weekend. Translating to “tomorrow” from the Gadigal language, the showcase will platform the voices of Indigenous artists.

Punters will see performances from the likes of Becca Hatch, DJ Plead, JK-47, Kobie Dee, Milan Ring, and Spvrrow.

Travis De Vries from Broriginals and Sara Khan and Darren Lesaguis from FBi Radio will host Barrabuwari.

In the evening, Ziggy Ramo will perform tracks his acclaimed, debut album Black Thoughts.

DJ Plead will be offering up a set Saturday night as well.

The Sunday will see the Sydney Symphony Orchestra round out the weekend. They’re set to include pieces from Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Grieg.

The Sydney Opera House event is free. Punters will need to register for tickets to the event though.
