Tash Sultana has blessed us all with a new single. ‘Beyond The Pine’ is the latest offering off of their forthcoming album Terra Firma, however the release date is still under wraps.
‘Beyond The Pine’ is full of detailed instrumentals and beautiful layering that adds this nice texture to the single, while Tash Sultana’s smooth AF vocals keep the vibe super duper chill.
On the track, Sultana said, “This song is about how love has no boundaries and everyone should be free to self love and love others no matter the race, colour, religion, gender, sexuality or identity.”
They also revealed that the new single is the third to be shared out of a 14-track album.
Tash Sultana played live for Stephen Colbert on his The Late Show. They played the new single, taking control over every aspect of the song, for the at home performance. It looks extremely fancy.
Sultana told NME Australia of the new album, “Terra Firma is the ground, the earth, you put your feet on it to remember where you are, what you’re from.”
“It’s a reminder that we are only human at the end of the day. Part of one big system and no one really knows the answers to how and why.”
Tash Sultana was announced as part of the 2021 Bluesfest lineup too. They join Bon Iver, Patti Smith And Her Band, Jimmy Barnes, George Benson, The Teskey Brothers, and more.
