The Dead Love Team Up With All-Star Aussie Emo Lineup On Iso Anthem ‘My Friends’

The Dead Love has a new single today called ‘My Friends’ and it’s too relatable. ‘My Friends’ sees the Sydney punk-rockers put together this ridiculously catchy track with more hooks than a bait and tackle shop.

The track is all about missing your mates, something we’re all having a big struggle with right now. The Dead Love sings, “Filling my brain at one tenth of capacity, I miss my friends and I miss how it used to be.”

Sharing a video alongside the release, The Dead Love have gathered up all Australia’s best pop punk/rock/emo bands. The clip features, Stand Atlantic, Yours Truly, and DZ Deathrays, each of whom The Dead Love have supported.

On top of that is RedHook, The Lazy Susans, Bakers Eddy, Teen Jesus & the Jean Teasers, Columbus, Baby Shower, Voiid, Down For Tomorrow — basically an Aussie emo powerhouse collection of sorts.
