UPDATE: The Hills Are Alive Festival 2019 Lineup Announced
ORIGINAL STORY: Victoria’s The Hills Are Alive festival has unveiled its headline act and dates for 2019, before the three-day event returns to South Gippsland in March.
The 2019 festival, taking place around 90 minutes from Melbourne, will be headlined by indie singer-songwriter Vera Blue, off the back of her latest album Perennial.
The Hills Are Alive 2019 — the 11th edition of the festival — will take place between Friday, 29th and Sunday, 31st March, with its usual camping, comedy, karaoke, ping pong and BYO vibes.
This year’s lineup featured the likes of Luca Brasi, Kim Churchill and Alex The Astronaut.
Organisers say the full lineup for 2019 will be announced “real soon”. Until then, check out all the dates and ticket information announced so far, below.
