The Hives Announce Australian Livestream Show For January

While Australian bands are finally getting to experience playing to actual crowds again, bands based in some other nations aren’t experiencing that luxury. But, in an attempt to keep the party going, Sweden’s The Hives have announced a live-stream show just for Australian audiences.

The band have announced a worldwide live stream tour. with different shows on different days for different areas of the planet.

The Hives’ Australian leg of the tour will be happening 9PM AEDT on Thursday, 28th January. It will be the fourth leg of the bands tour after playing shows slated for London, Berlin and New York.

“First, there was no-knead bread, then came no-wrinkle shirts, and now we witness the birth of the No Travel World Tour!” the band said in a press statement,

“Due to “circumstances”, we have recently found ourselves with a severe rock ‘n’ roll deficit. This will not stand. We are itching to play with you rock ‘n’ rollers worldwide and we don’t want another “intimate livestream” in sweatpants from the living room. Virus or no virus, we are still in show business goddammit!”

Tickets for the show are available now, and will set you back an easy $20 AUD plus booking fee.
