The Rolling Stones Reveal ’14 On Fire’ Setlist

The Rolling Stones have officially kicked off their 14 On Fire world tour, mesmerising crowds in in Abu Dhabi and Tokyo with almost identical set lists, giving Australian audiences a good idea of what songs from their extensive catalogue they will perform when they hit our stages this March.

The legendary band released a photo of the setlist from their first Tokyo show via Twitter and according to FasterLouder, it featured 16 of the same tracks as their Abu Dhabi concert last week. Consistent tracks included It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It), Tumbling Dice and Emotional Rescue plus standards like Paint It Black, Sympathy For The Devil and You Can’t Always Get What You Want, have been played so far at both shows.

Stones classic Gimme Shelter was voted by fans to be played at the rockers’ debut Middle East show and was consequently also added to the Tokyo set list. Abu Dhabi fans were treated exclusively to songs like Start Me Up, Angie and Honky Tonk Women, while the Tokyo crowd got Get Off Of My Cloud, Wild Horses and by popular demand the bombastic Sticky Fingers b-side, Bitch.

The band will play two more shows in Tokyo next week and a single show in Macau before heading to Australia to begin their tour in Perth on March 19. This will be the first time The Rolling Stones have visited Australia since 2006. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood are sure to return with an iconic catalogue in tow, along with Mick Taylor, a member of the Stones from 1969-1974, who will be a special guest.
