The UNIFY Gathering Lineup Is Here, And It’s Heavy As Fuck

After a week of speculation, with some pretty big hints, the lineup for new Australian heavy music gathering UNIFY has been revealed, and it really is everything we were hoping for and more.

In January 2015, this new two-day music and camping festival will descend on South Gippsland with a who’s who of Australian punk, hardcore and metal in tow, including The Amity Affliction, Northlane, In Hearts Wake and Thy Art Is Murder, Deez Nuts.

Queensland legends The Amity Affliction will headline after selling out their entire Let The Ocean Take Me national tour. Armed with a polished, powerful new set of songs, the Gympie boys are there to show why they’ve become one of the leading draws on the Australian touring circuit. And to have a good time, obviously.

Meanwhile, Northlane will be coming off the back of their ambitious Free Your Mind mini-festival tour, performing their last show before they head off to record their third album. With the recent departure of Adrian Fitipaldes, it’ll also be the first look fans get at the band’s new vocalist.

Perth hardcore favourites Break Even will reunite just for UNIFY, plus there’s sets from Confession, Buried In Verona, Hand Of Mercy, Antagonist AD, Hellions, Storm The Sky and still more. See the rest of the very impressive lineup below.

In UNIFY Gathering, Australian label UNIFIED and the folks from The Hills Are Alive have created what they describe as a unique, community-driven event with a “punter-friendly” atmosphere. The site will hold just 3,000 people, who’ll experience a host of other entertainment including live DJs, a mini-golf course, a sports field, street-cart food, a late-night cinema, and both BYO and licensed areas.

Tickets start from just $99 (!) and include free camping on-site (!!!), just 10 minutes from the beach. They’ll come in special bundles which can include merch like sunglasses, t-shirts, stubby coolers, and posters.
