Thelma Plum Announces Rescheduled ‘Homecoming Queen’ Tour Dates

After many unavoidable postponements, Thelma Plum‘s huge ‘Homecoming Queen’ national tour is finally set to get underway as live music begins to sprout up across the country once more.

This time around, the Homecoming Queen tour is set to take place in May and June this year with a few small changes. Some shows have been split into early and late events and a few extra dates have been added.

For the rest, all tickets are valid for existing shows.

“My team and I have been working really hard and it’s FINALLY happening!!,” says Plum in a statement. “I am so damn excited to bring the Homecoming Queen shows on the road – I’ve been looking forward to this tour for what seems like forever! I’m super lucky that my friends Kira Puru and Molly Millington are coming along for the ride as well.”

The Homecoming Queen tour will celebrate Thelma Plum’s debut album Better In Blak, which was nominated for ‘Album Of The Year’ at the 2019 ARIA Awards and came in at number 3 on triple j‘s album poll.

In triple j‘s 2019 Hottest 100, Plum’s single ‘Not Angry Anymore’ landed at #78, ‘Homecoming Queen’ at #65 and ‘Better In Blak’ at #9, making her the highest-ranking First Nations artist ever.
