You Am I’s Tim Rogers Will Front The Hard-Ons For A Secret, Free Gig In Sydney Tomorrow Night

Pssst… Sydney… one of Aussie rock’s big dogs is playing a secret show in your hood tomorrow night.

Hunter Street’s doomed den of rock Frankie’s Pizza By The Slice has been hyping up “the live music event of the century” in the form of a headline set from a mysterious entity dubbed CLANDESTINE SAUSAGE.

Now Music Feeds has caught wind that CLANDESTINE SAUSAGE is nothing but a pseudonym for Aussie punk veterans, The Hard-ons featuring Tim Rogers, iconic You Am I frontman on lead vox.

“February 16 marks this monumental occasion,” says Frankies. “Got work? Quit. Anniversary? Not this year. No way. Not with this much at stake.”

Local supports will come in the form of retro rockers Starcrazy, howlin’ metalcore crew Wolf Creek and ghetto grungers STAIN.

Entry is FREE from 4pm, with Clandestine Sausage AKA The Hard-Ons to appear no later than 9pm.

“There are no tickets and we’re expected to fill up in a feeding frenzy of Hard Rock and hot pizza, so get in early and go for gold,” Frankies adds.

You’re welcome.

You can peep more info via the Facebook event here.

And ICYMI your days left to enjoy Frankies are numbered, with the venue set to be demolished by the NSW Government this year to make way for a new metro train station.
