TLC Had To Cancel Their Australian Open Show Due To A “Computer Meltdown”

TLC were forced to pull the pin on their set at the 2018 Australian Open due to a “technical difficulties” triggered by the crazy heat.

The iconic R&B due had been scheduled to perform at the final on Sunday, 28th January alongside DJ Horizon, but had to axe the gig after the insane 40+ degree temps wreaked havoc on the technology.

“We have had a full computer meltdown tonight and unfortunately TLC cannot sing because they can’t sing without their computers,” a spokesperson announced to the crowd (via The Music).

“But we will issue full refunds for everyone here.”

Both TLC’s Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas took to Twitter to apologise to disappointed fans.

“I’m soooooo sorry it was out of our control we’re trying to figure something out to make up to you,” T-Boz said.

While Chilli added: “Omg we are so sorry… we were dressed and everything but it was out of pur hands. Like she said we’re trying to figure our how to make it up somehow.”

A spokesperson from Tennis Australia has confirmed to Music Feeds that “technical difficulties” were to blame for the cancellation, adding that any Ground Pass ticket holders for Sunday, 28th January who came to see TLC can apply for a refund by hitting up contactingcustomersupport@tennis.com.au
