UPDATE: Ultra Australia Announces ‘Phase Two’ Lineup For 2019 Festival

ORIGINAL STORY: The Australian edition of Ultra has announced its first four acts for 2019, ahead of its first-ever full-scale Aussie events.

Ultra will hit Melbourne and Sydney in February 2019, and will feature sets from the likes of dance mainstays The Chainsmokers, Marshmello, Martin Garrix and Adam Beyer.

While the festival’s Phase 1 lineup contains only these four acts, “many more” acts are still to be announced, organisers say.

Ultra will be making its major Australian debut in 2019, after making its minor debut with its ‘Road To Ultra’ event in Melbourne back in February.

The full, multi-stage version of the festival will take place in Melbourne on Saturday 23rd February and Sydney on Sunday, 24th February 2019.

“After watching the success of the event in Miami over the last 20 years and across the globe, it’s time we experienced this fantastic festival down under,” Ultra organisers said.

“Showcasing ‘Ultra Australia’ at two of the nation’s premiere venues in Flemington Racecourse, Melbourne and Parramatta Park, Sydney, we are also excited to announce this amazing Phase 1 lineup and we are counting down the days ’til summer.”
