Soundwave shmoundwave. The UNIFY Gathering 2016 lineup is here and it is one heavy metal mother-beast SO GO ON AND BEHOLD ITS MONSTROUS GLORY.
Topping the gargantuan 20-strong bill are one of Australia’s biggest ever musical exports Parkway Drive, plus Sydney pop punkers Tonight Alive as well as behemoth international acts Neck Deep, State Champs, and Stray From The Path.
And as if that wasn’t enough to get your devil horns erect, then there’s also a swarm of Australian metal mercenaries to back them up.
Previously-outed core-lords In Hearts Wake are joined by the might of Hands Like Houses, Dream On Dreamer, Hellions, Trophy Eyes, Ocean Grove and stacks more.
“We’re super proud of this lineup – 2015 was always going to be hard to top, but I think we’ve done it,” the UNIFY organisers said previously in a statement. “And we only repeated three acts, all who had new albums out this year”.
UNIFY Gathering 2016 will take place on Saturday, 16th January and Sunday, 17th January at Tarwin Meadows in South Gippsland.
Early bird tickets to the event have already completely sold out, but punters who missed out still have almost a week to scrounge together the funds in preparation for when the general public allocation goes live next Thursday, October 1st.

UPDATE 13/10/15: Melbourne metalcore outfit Confession have joined the UNIFY Gathering 2016 lineup, and are set to play their second last show ever as part of the festival, before breaking up.
