Urthboy has unveiled a veritable who’s who of Elefant Traks’ ever-expanding roster as special guests for his impending Australian tour.
Joining album collaborators Bertie Blackman, B-wise, Timberwolf, Kira Puru, Montaigne and Jane Tyrrell, who will appear on selected dates – will be official tour support L-FRESH The LION and Okenyo.
After playing his most recent live shows before this year way back in 2013, Tim Levinson put his Urthboy project on the back-burner – spending most of his time between keeping up appearances as the head of Elefant Traks and balancing that with his own fatherly duties.
So when Urthboy hit the ground running in 2016 it was perhaps an unexpected, but no less exciting surprise – with Levinson releasing his fifth LP The Past Beats Inside Me Like A Second Heartbeat and returning to centre stage at triple j’s One Night Stand in Geraldton.
A national album support tour was the next big announcement, with his national run set to kick off in Melbourne on Thursday, 26th May before Urthboy and an all-star crew traverse the rest of the country.
L-FRESH has just dropped his new album Become, and also toured around the country earlier this year with Groovin The Moo – while Okenyo recently released a brand new single, a track called Ten Feet Tall.
