Sydney multi-talent Joyride has given Kelly Clarkson‘s mega-hit ‘Since U Been Gone’ a smooth and funky rendition for triple j‘s weekly Like A Version covers segment.
Joyride’s cover turns the pop banger into an unexpectedly silky jam, laden with the funky goodness we’ve come to expect from him.
This isn’t his first foray into Like A Version territory, however, having previously covered Scribe’s ‘Not Many’ as a part of hip-hop collective One Day.
As well as ‘Since U Been Gone’, Joyride also performed his latest tune ‘Blue Batmans’ while in the triple j studios. Watch both performances below.
