Watch: Kate Nash’s New Song – ‘Under-Estimate The Girl’

Kate Nash has unveiled a brand new song – Under-Estimate The Girl – the first taste of material from her currently-untitled third album.

According to NME, the track was written, recorded and had its video made in just 24 hours. The track sees the indie songstress draw on a series of grunge, new wave and reggae influences while maintaining her own unique style.

The track was born out of a moment that found Nash itching for a creative fix. She wrote: “So the other night I was stressin’ out and we’d just finished rehearsing and I was like ARGHGHHGHGH I need to write a song and release something and do something creative instead of breaking all my stuff that I own”.

Nash has been in Los Angeles putting together her third album, which is tipped to be released later this year. She’s also going to be doing shows around the UK for the remainder of this month.
